DJ PSandy, whose real name is Sandile Mkhwanazi is an unsigned artist, Club DeeJay and Music Producer.
As a DJ he mostly plays House music, from Afro-Beats, Electronic Dance Music, Deep House, Progressive Deep
House, New Age Kwaito, Durban House and Kwaito. His recent mixes include genres from Pop Music, International Funky House Beats and Commercial Music.
He has performed in many Clubs in the city Durban which is where his DJ career began.
Starting up as music producer for PSandy was more like a hobby instead of a career in 2008. He started producing house beats and doing remixes of popular artists that when people from his neighbourhood
in Mtubatuba heard his music asked him to do more. Artists
around his neighbourhood started to come around and asked for him to produce for them genres from Kwaito, Rap, even Maskandi as it is most popular in the neighbourhood.
After 5 years DJ PSandy decided to take music production to a professional level by enrolling at college and study Music Production and Sound Technology.
He started with a pentium 3 Windows XP computer that had
only 10 GB of harddrive.
He is the full proof that with a little passion and a lot of
consistency big dreams can be archived.
